I’m the founder of Leadership Multiverse, a leadership consultancy and thought leadership platform that uses science fiction, popular culture and storytelling to help leaders navigate complexity, make better decisions and build stronger teams.
After over six years as an award-winning CEO and over a decade working in senior leadership teams, I wanted to create something that brings together my experience and personal passion: leadership and science fiction.
I’ve always understood the world through stories. Whether it was watching Star Wars with my dad as a child, discovering Star Trek as a teenager, or later becoming obsessed with Marvel, I’ve always been fascinated by the leadership challenges these stories look at, and realised they actually make these scenarios easier to understand, because they strip away jargon and overused frameworks, and reveal the human dynamics underneath.
Through The Leadership Multiverse, I use science fiction, pop culture and storytelling to help leaders and teams think differently about strategy, decision-making and team dynamics. My work combines real-world executive experience with practical lessons drawn from the stories people already know and love.
Having spent more than a decade working with boards, senior leaders and policymakers across the world, I understand first-hand the pressures that come with leadership. Whether you’re making difficult decisions, managing competing priorities or trying to build a team that can perform under pressure, leadership can be both challenging and isolating. My goal is to help leaders and those stepping into positions of responsibility navigate those moments with greater clarity, confidence and perspective.
I deliver keynotes, workshops and leadership programmes for organisations looking for a fresh, memorable and highly practical approach to leadership development, and alongside Andrew, co-host The Leadership Multiverse podcast, where we dive deep into the galaxies of sci-fi, superhero, and fantasy cinema and television to explore what it really means to lead.

I am a specialist consultant to the international membership sector, with a background in senior leadership roles across UK-based professional and trade bodies. I bring more than two decades of experience in nonprofit strategy, governance, and leadership, including 15 years as a CEO and executive leader, and since 2016, as an independent advisor to over 150 clients globally.
I work in partnership with boards and executive teams to co-create strategic plans and operational frameworks that are ambitious, agile, and grounded in real-world application. My consulting style is participatory, values-led, and outcomes- driven. I help leadership teams navigate complex decisions
with clarity, providing structured facilitation, practical advice, and a strong bias for action.
As a Fellow of the Society of Association Management, I champion transparent governance, courageous leadership, and decision-making that builds trust and accountability. Alongside Ellen, I co-host The Leadership Multiverse podcast, where we dive deep into the galaxies of sci-fi, superhero, and fantasy cinema and television to explore what it really means to lead. I am also co-host of Association Transformation, a podcast exploring global issues in association management and nonprofit leadership.
